Aug. 13 Lake Winnie Fishing Report

Walleye action has picked up with live-bait rigs and crawlers in shallower water. Most fish are being caught in 8 to 10 feet along the east side, especially with a wind or clouds, and along the 9- to 12-foot weed flats off Raven’s Point on the west side. A jig and minnow is turning perch on the 8- to 10-foot flats and spoons are producing pike on the 10- to 12-foot weedbeds.
