Walleyes are hitting a spinner and crawler during low-light periods on the bars and humps in 12 to 16 feet. During the day, or if it’s calm, 25 to 30 feet has been best on main lake structure. Northern pike remain active in the 9- to 12-foot weedbeds, while perch are biting as shallow as 4 to 6 feet during the morning hours at Rich’s Townsite or the mouth of the river up to Sugar Point and on the 20- 25-foot humps during the day.
