August 18 Fishing Report
Good walleye fishing continues on the shoreline breaks and bars on the east and west sides of the lake. A spinner with a minnow or crawler is working best in 8 to 12 feet. Anglers are finding random schools of perch, but the bite hasn’t been very consistent. Look for more fish in 4 to 15 feet on the south and west ends of the lake. Spoons continue to turn pike on the 10- to 12-foot weed edges.
