A spinner rig tipped with minnows or crawlers is producing walleyes during the day on the shoreline breaks and flats in 10 to 15 feet. Crankbaits also are working during the evening hours in 8 to 12 feet. Perch action has improved with a jig and minnow on the 6- to 10-foot mud. Northern pike activity has been up and down with crankbaits or spoons turning fish along the 10- to 12-foot weeds.
