With the exception of a few small cracks, the lake is in fine shape and you can generally work around those areas where small pockets of slush do exist. ATVs and half-ton trucks are being used; just avoid any drifts and work through a resorter whenever possible. Many resorts have plowed roads. The tops of the bars and humps have been best for walleyes and some perch. It might be 18 feet or 25 feet, just stick to the tops rather than the sides of the structure on the main lake. Tamarack Bay is another area worth noting for perch and walleyes in 12 to 15 feet.
Have fun and stay safe.
