Look for jumbo perch on Snaghole Bar and Horseshoe Bar in 16 to 18 feet or as deep as 30 to 32 feet during the day; the morning bite seems to be best in the shallower water. You’ll catch northern pike in 16 to 20 feet and a few walleyes are being taken on top of the bars and humps in 20 to 25 feet during low-light periods.
