Bigger walleyes are being taken on live-bait rigs with leeches and crawlers or Jiggin’ Raps on the 25- to 35-foot humps and bars. A spinner and crawler is producing more keeping-size fish in the 8- to 15-foot weeds. Perch reports have varied with some decent fish coming out of the 10- to 15-foot weeds and others being found in 30 feet or more. Northern pike have been active in the weeds and deep structure.
