The summer walleye fishing bite rolls on! Look for walleyes on the main lake humps and bars in 20 to 25 feet – the northwest humps have been better this week. Longer spinner rigs and live-bait rigs with leeches are working best. Perch are hitting off Raven’s Point and Sugar Point in 16 to 20 feet – find a cloud of minnows and you’ll find bigger perch behind them. Trolling spoons and crankbaits along the 9- to 15-foot weeds has been best for northern pike.
