You’ve probably heard good things about the great Lake Winnibigoshish (Lake Winnie) walleye bite up here in northern Minnesota – because it’s true! Here’s the new fishing report: Walleye action remains strong on the shoreline breaks and points in 8 to 12 feet with a jig and minnow or spinners and nightcrawlers. Some fish have started showing up on the main-lake bars in deeper water as well. Northern pike remain active throughout the lake, but perch reports have been lighter this week.
