Lake Winnie spring walleye fishing is heating up and will only be getting better! Walleyes are being caught with shiner minnows in 8 to 14 feet on Big Stoney Point, Little Stoney Point, the Bird Houses, Mallard Point, Sugar Point, and Raven’s Point. Nightcrawlers also are turning fish on the bars in deeper water. A few perch continue to be caught in 14 feet on the north and west sides, while northern pike seem to be hitting throughout the lake in 8 to 14 feet.
