June 15th Fishing Report

The jig and shiner bite for walleyes is hanging in there, especially early and late each day on the 6- to 14-foot shoreline breaks. During the day, leeches are producing walleyes on the bars and humps in 16 to 24 feet. Trolling crankbaits in 7 to 12 feet also has produced walleyes during the evening hours. Perch reports have been limited, but northern pike continue to be caught with the walleyes.
