The cold front early this week slowed walleye activity a bit, but look for it to pick up again by this weekend. Most fish continue to be taken on live bait rigs tipped with leeches and crawlers or a jig and minnow on the main lake bars in 15 to 22 feet. Pods of bigger perch have been tough to find, but you’ll find some mixed with the walleyes. Northern pike are an easy catch on the bars or weed edges, but most have run on the small side.
Good Luck and Be Safe!
