June 8th Fishing Report

Walleye action has been slower during the past week, likely due to the calm conditions. Early and late have been more productive on the bars in 24 to 28 feet or the 12- to 14-foot shoreline breaks, with a jig and minnow or livebait rigs and spinner rigs tipped with leeches. Some anglers are doing well pulling crankbaits along the shoreline breaks during the evenings and after dark. Pike and perch are mixed in with no real patterns being established for them.
