May 27 Fishing Report

The shoreline breaks, flats, and points along the east and west side sides of the lake have been productive for walleyes, but some fish are starting to be found deeper, especially if it’s calm and bright. Early and late each day, a jig and minnow or leeches are turning fish in 9 to 12 feet. Northern pike activity has picked up in most of the same areas holding walleyes and the best perch action is happening in 12 to 15 feet on the west and north ends of the lake.
