Walleyes are being caught on crawlers in 25 to 30 feet during the day, typically on the deep sides of the bars. If it’s windy or under low-light conditions, crankbaits and minnows are working well on the weedbeds and flats in less than 16 feet. Spoons or crankbaits continue to produce northern pike on most weedlines or weed flats and perch are being taken with a jig and minnow off the points in 12 to 18 feet.
