There was a push of more walleyes back into shallower water over the past week, but some are being caught deep as well. Pitch a jig and minnow along the shoreline breaks and points in 8 to 12 feet or 12 to 15 feet. Live-bait rigs with leeches are turning walleyes on main-lake structure in 20 to 22 feet. Perch and pike seem to be mixed in with the walleyes rather than targeted on a specific spot.
